After breakfast, all aboard the coach / car to Agra. Reach Agra and check-in to your hotel. In the evening visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site which was designed and built by the great Mughal ruler, Akbar, in about 1565 A.D. Meal included: Breakfast.
At sunrise witness the magnificent Taj Mahal at its best. A fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles, Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1592 – 1666) in the memory of his beloved third wife, Mumtaz Mahal (1593 – 1631). It has been called “marbled embroidery” for its intricate workmanship.
It took 22,000 workmen 22 years to complete it. According to legend, to prevent the builders from ever replicating the beauty of the Taj Mahal, their hands were cut off.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On your arrival at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
