Efforts to safeguard these iconic big cats have led to notable successes, including increased tiger numbers and enhanced habitat protection.
India's Project Tiger, initiated on April 1, 1973, was a landmark conservation effort aimed at saving the country's dwindling tiger population and its habitat. Launched by then Minister Karan Singh at Corbett National Park with an initial budget of ₹4 crore, the project established nine key reserves to protect tigers and their ecosystems. This initiative has been pivotal in increasing the tiger population from 1,800 in 1973 to 3,167 in recent years, with India now hosting over 70% of the world's wild tigers. The project's scope has expanded significantly, with 53 reserves covering over 75,000 square kilometers today.

Upon your arrival at the Nagpur International Airport (NAG) you will meet our driver and depart for Pench National Park (110km – 2.5 hours). On arrival at Pench , check-in at lodge followed by lunch. Leisure followed by evening Introduction to Pench and Nature Walk. Dinner and overnight Stay at Pench Jungle Camp.

Wake up early and head out for your Morning Safari (1) and explore the beautiful forest of Pench. The morning safari offers unique moments to capture as the sun rises and wake up the jungle as the birds and other wildlife start their day. We will carry packed breakfast from the lodge to have at designated breakfast points inside the park. After morning safari, head back to the lodge and relax in your room. Lunch followed by another exciting Afternoon safari(2). Our pro guides and drivers will make sure to show you different parts of the park for a wholesome experience. Dinner and overnight at Pench Jungle Camp.

Full Day Safari . Experience being inside the forest from Sunrise to Sunset. Enjoy the sunrise along with all the species of wildlife you come across. Our guide and drivers are excellent spotters, storytellers and very knowledgeable. A Full Day safari will not only increase your chances of spotting the big cats but it will also give you access to multiple zones which can play a crucial part in a big cat sighting. This is a great opportunity to also look out for all sorts of wildlife without having to go out of the park. We will be carrying packed Breakfast and Lunch for the full day safari. Post safari, leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay at Pench Jungle Camp.

Post safari, leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay Kanha Jungle Camp.

Morning Safari (6) will be your last Safari in the magical land of Kanha. We will carry packed breakfast from the lodge to have at designated breakfast points inside the park. Post safari, Lunch and checkout. Drive to Jabalpur (160km – 4hrs). Check In at Vijayan Mahal and day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Vijayan Mahal or similar.

Wake up early followed by breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Drive to Panna National Park (4.5hrs- 200km). Check In at lodge followed by lunch. Leisure at lodge till evening. Introduction to Panna National Park followed by nature walk in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort.

Early morning boat ride on the Ken river. Experience life on the river as you boat on one of India’s cleanest rivers. Breakfast at lodge followed by leisure. Lunch followed by Evening Safari (7). Explore Panna National Park and its beautiful landscape. Post safari, dinner and overnight stay at Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort.

Morning Safari (8). Panna is one of the most scenic parks of Central India and is home to hundreds of species of animals, birds, insects, reptiles. Breakfast inside the park at designated areas. Post safari, leisure at lodge. Lunch followed by a visit to Khajuraho (25km – 45mins). Embark on guided Tour of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site: Khajuraho Temples approx 2.5 hours. Dinner at a famous cafe at Khajuraho followed by a drive back to the lodge. Overnight at Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort.

Full Day Safari . All day in Pench will definitely increase your chances of spotting the big cats like the tiger and leopards. Panna is one of the most scenic parks in Central India with table top mountains and the river flowing through the national park. It offers a great variety of species of wildlife. We will be carrying packed Breakfast and Lunch for the full day safari. Post safari, leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort.

Morning Safari (9). Last safari of the tour. Drive through the dry deciduous forest of Panna and scan for the big cats. Breakfast at designated areas of the park. Post safari , back up and checkout. Lunch followed by a drive to Khajuraho Airport (25km – 45mins). Fly back home with a story to tell.
