Tigers in India are a symbol of the country’s rich biodiversity and wildlife heritage. These majestic creatures inhabit a range of environments, from dense forests to grasslands, showcasing their adaptability and predatory prowess. India is home to 70% of the world's tiger population, with numerous reserves and protected areas dedicated to their conservation. Efforts to safeguard these iconic big cats have led to increased tiger numbers and enhanced habitat protection. Central India is your best bet to meet this King of Indian jungles.
India's Project Tiger, initiated on April 1, 1973, was a landmark conservation effort aimed at saving the country's dwindling tiger population and its habitat. The project established nine key reserves to protect tigers and their ecosystems. This initiative has been pivotal in increasing the tiger population from 1,800 in 1973 to 3,167 in recent years, with India home of most of world's most charming Big Cat : The Tiger. The project's scope has now expanded significantly, with 53 reserves covering over 75,000 square kilometers today.

Upon your arrival at the Nagpur International Airport (NAG) you will meet our driver and depart for Kanha National Park (270km – 5 hours). On arrival at Pench , check-in at lodge followed by lunch. Embark on your very first Afternoon safari (1). You will meet expert guides and drivers who are all set to show the stunning wildlife Kanha has to offer. Try and spot the big cats on your first safari and get introduced to the wildlife of Kanha. Dinner and overnight at Kanha Jungle Camp.

Wake up early and head out for your Morning Safari (2) and explore the beautiful forest of Tadoba. The morning safari offers unique moments to capture as sun rises and wake up the jungle as birds and other wildlife start their day. We will carry packed breakfast from the lodge to have at designated breakfast points inside the park. After morning safari, head back to the lodge and relax in your room. A lunch followed by another exciting Afternoon safari(3). Our pro guides and drivers will make sure to show you different parts of the park for a wholesome experience. Dinner and overnight at Kanha Jungle Camp.

Experience being inside the deeper forest from Sunrise to Sunset. Enjoy the sunrise along with all the species of wildlife you come across. Our guide and drivers are excellent spotters, storytellers and very knowledgeable. A Full Day safari will not only increase your chances of spotting the big cats but it will also give you access to multiple zones which can play a crucial part in a big cat sighting. This is a great opportunity to also look out for all sorts of wildlife without having to go out of the park. We will be carrying packed Breakfast and Lunch for the full day safari. Post safari, time at leisure followed by dinner.

Wake up at ease followed by breakfast at the lodge restaurant. Leisure followed by checkout. Drive to Pench National Park (3.5hrs- 180km). Check In at Pench Jungle Camp. Lunch followed by Introduction to Pench. Evening Safari (4), explore the mixed forest of Pench National Park. Post Safari, some free time followed by dinner. Overnight stay at Pench Jungle Camp.

Pench is one of the most exciting parks in Central Indian and offers a great variety of species of wildlife. We will be carrying packed Breakfast and Lunch for the full day safari. Post safari, leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay at Pench Jungle.

Wake up at ease on your last morning in Central India. Breakfast at the lodge followed by checkout. Drive to Nagpur Airport and fly back home with a jungle story to tell.
